New Auxiliary Officers: 2012
Four new Auxiliary officers are recognized during a ceremony in February, 2012 after completing all necessary training to become uniformed.  Lt. Downing attended to welcome the new officers.

MDA Lock Up 2010
Local Newon business and community leaders agreed to be "arrested" by the Newton Aux. Police for having a "big heart" in the fun, MDA Lock-Up. This unique community-wide event raises funds for Jerry's kids, and the Department was there to help.
